Here are some frequently asked about:
Limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on crystal clear 180-gram audiophile vinyl. La Tragédie D’Oreste Et Électre is the high-water mark of Cranes’ work in a specifically high-art realm. Highlights from the release include “Danse D’Electre,” a gentle piece that turns into a haunting wash of ambient sound, and the understated chills of “Au Temple”.
Better production? Check. Better musicianship? Check. A more mature attitude? $#@! no! Released just a year after The Donnas’ first, self-titled record, American Teenage Rock ‘N’ Roll Machine slowed the tempos a bit-think more Runaways and KISS, less Ramones-but, with songs like “Checkin’ It Out” and “Leather on Leather,” the libidinous lyrics remained unchecked. Nor did The Donnas’ penchant for crafting catchy hooks, supercharged by the budding guitar heroics of Allison Robertson. Our reissue comes with a fresh remastering for vinyl from the original masters by Mike Milchner, and features band commentary along with the original “pin-up” calendar. Fire orange with black swirl pressing… shake in the action! A1. Rock ‘N’ Roll Machine A2. You Make Me Hot A3. Checkin’ It Out A4. Gimmie My Radio A5. Outta My Mind B1. Looking for Blood B2. Leather on Leather B3. Wanna Get Some Stuff B4. Speed Demon B5. Shake in the Action
Guster “Keep It Together” limited green vinyl. Gold-certified Boston alternative outfit Guster reached another milestone on their fourth studio album Keep It Together. They recorded it’s 14 tracks during sessions in Bearsville, NY, New York, NY, Burbank, CA, and Shokan, NY, churning out favorites such as “Amsterdam” and the title track “Keep It Together.” The latter appeared in The O.C., while “I Hope Tomorrow Is Like Today” soundtracked key moments in the blockbuster comedy Wedding Crashers and an episode of Malcolm in the Middle. Beyond debuting in the Top 35 of the Billboard Top 200, Pitchfork assured the album has “plenty of chicken soup for your pop soul.” Thankfully, they’ve kept it together since then with one dynamic album after another.
Gov’t Mule. “Dark Side Of The Mule” Double white colored vinyl LP pressing. Dark Side of the Mule is a live album by Gov’t Mule composed of covers of Pink Floyd songs. The album was recorded in 2008 during a three-hour gig at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on Halloween night.
