salute’s critically acclaimed ‘Shield’ EP is now available on pink rose LP via Techinicolour.

The Austrian producer has created a dynamic back catalog, moving through RnB, dubstep, dance, hip-hop, even jazz and gospel. New EP ‘Shield’ brings a once again elevated sound.

‘Shield’ is a cocktail of UK dance and electro-pop featuring Filipino born, London based artist No Rome, and the pensive yet euphoric closer ‘Feels Like My Hands Are On Fire’, with salute’s own vocals featuring on the track, co-produced by George Daniel of The 1975.

The two singles from the project, ‘Wait For It’ and ‘Peach’ ft. Sammy Virji, were huge electronic cuts that garnered attention on TikTok with support from Mixmag, DJ Mag, Clash Magazine and more. They’re building an impressive run of live sets including Boiler Room Melbourne (where they debuted both tracks), Lost Village, Secret Garden Party, The Warehouse Project, Parklife, fabric and Field Day, as well as their first tour across the US and Australia. Named as one of the DJs who defined 2022 by Mixmag, salute also remixed the likes of DJ Seinfeld and Kaytranada.

With each release feeling like salute is continuously growing into their greatness, ‘Shield’ EP presents a fully fledged innovator in electronic music.
