FutureNever is the second studio album by Australian musician Daniel Johns. Continuing to scratch Johns’ itch for collaboration, with “a few of his friends” jumping on the record, names he’ll slowly release in the lead up to it’s release. Johns says the record will be an “eclectic mix of music” and, given the breadth of material his offered us in the past 25 years or so, it’s anyone’s guess what this will sound like.
For new listeners to Daniel Johns solo – “There’s rock bravado throughout, but you won’t get a whiff of Frogstomp” (Wiki). It’s a heartfelt and gripping solo singer-songwriter record.
